Betterlivingandhome started in my cozy kitchen in New Jersey, one deodorant at a time. With a limited budget but an unlimited passion for natural skincare, I set out to create a deodorant that truly worked—one without baking soda (which irritated my skin), aluminum (which caused yellow stains and raised health concerns), or synthetic fragrances (which I wanted to avoid altogether).

 

With a deep love for chemistry and a background in the corporate world, I began experimenting with formulations. After many trials, I whipped up my first batch of magnesium-based deodorant. Etsy became my first marketplace, and Faire my first wholesale marketplace and by God's grace, the love and support from customers were overwhelming. The positive feedback reassured me that I was on the right path, and Betterlivingandhome slowly grew beyond just deodorants.

 

For family reasons, I am now operating from India, but my passion remains the same—crafting high-quality, natural bath and body products that people can trust. From soaps to candles, every product is made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, just like when I first started. This journey has been full of challenges, but every step has been worth it, and I’m grateful for every customer who has supported me along the way.
